Three Strikes

In California, if you are convicted of a serious or violent felony, a strike will be placed on your record. A second serious or violent offense results in a second strike and a third offense results in a third strike. However, all three strikes could be issued from one single incident if there were multiple charges. After a second strike, the punishment doubles. Once an individual has two strikes, the next felony crime committed by the individual will result in a minimum sentence of 25 years to life.

As an experienced Murrieta "3rd strike" attorney, I challenge the validity of prior strikes and negotiate to remove a prior strike from my clients' records so that the current offense does not carry such a severe penalty.
